MMD will bounce back to power – Machungwa

MMD National Trustee Peter Machungwa says the former ruling party has a great chance of bouncing back to power with Dr Nevers Mumba as its presidential candidate in 20^th January presidential election.

Dr. Machungwa says the MMD will make history by being the first former ruling political party to bounce back to power after the January 20^th, 2015 polls.

He says MMD President Nevers Mumba stands a better chance of winning the presidential by-election than former Republican President Rupiah Banda on the MMD ticket.

D Machungwa says Dr. Mumba’s recent visit to Kasama in Northern Province has shown that he has been accepted and trusted by the people of Zambia.

He adds that even the Bemba Royal Establishment (BRE) received Dr. Mumba and his entourage well because of his love for traditional leadership.

Dr. Machungwa is confident that the MMD will once again be in office because the people of Zambia have seen the need to bring the party back to power.
