Slow pace of road rehab in Samfya worries Chief Mwansakombe

Chief Mwansakombe of Samfya district in Luapula province has bemoaned the slow pace at which government is moving to improve the road network in the area.

Chief Mwansakombe notes that for fifty years now, the people in his chiefdom have been having difficulties to get to other areas for their daily activities because of the deplorable state of the road.

The traditional leader says it is important for government to move a step further and ensure that they speed up the process of ensuring that works on the Samfya-Luwingu road begin.

He adds that there is also urgent need for government to consider creating a district in his chiefdom to enable people have easy access to things such as health services.
