Patriotic Front President Edgar Lungu has assured the people of Luwingu of unprecedented development if voted for in the forthcoming presidential election.
Addressing a rally in Luwingu yesterday, Mr. Lungu says PF is the only party that can move the country forward.
Mr. Lungu also told the gathered crowd that what has been witnessed in the past were farmers have been paid late for their supplied produce and late delivery of farming inputs under the farmer input support programme will not happen in his government.
He adds that the road construction and rehabilitation will continue under his government.
Mr. Lungu has also condemned Lubansenshi Member of Parliament Patrick Mucheleka for attempting to take one of the constituencies in Luwingu to the opposition.
He has further directed party structures in Luwingu to welcome new members and work with them stressing that the PF is not a closed shop.
Earlier in the afternoon Mr Lungu paid a courtesy call on Chief Chipalo and asked for his blessings.
Chief Chipalo blessed Mr. Lungu and advised him to be humble, love everyone and listen to the people.
The traditional leader said he was sure Mr. Lungu was going to win and that he was the only one who could finish what president Sata had started.
Mr Lungu said with the blessings of the traditional leader he was headed for victory.

Here is Lungu being contradictory of a government administration he has been part and parcel of and in turncoat fashion heaping blame on Sata for failures of PF! Was Edgar Lungu in opposition or am I missing something here?
