MMD Die Hard National Youth Coordinator Bowman Lusambo has warned former party National Secretary Muhabi Lungu that he is playing a very dangerous game by attempting to undermine the Judiciary.
Mr Lusambo in a media statement issued to QFM News says the Supreme Court ruling was exp
licit and it issued clear instructions to Mr Lungu and his cohorts not to interfere in Dr Nevers Mumba’s presidential activities.
He has advised Mr Lungu that holding any purported National Executive Committee meeting is illegal and that all those that will turn up at this illegal meeting are imposters and therefore risk being arrested.
Mr Lusambo states that as MMD youths, they wish to remind Mr Lungu that the MMD is anchored on the principle of rule of law and respects the court’s decisions and autonomy.
He says they will not allow Mr Lungu desperation to strip the courts of its respect and credibility.
He adds that they will not sit and watch Mr Lungu and his desperate group of friends scheme to destroy the MMD, stating that MMD youths will defend the party and its leadership at all cost.
Mr Lusambo states that the MMD youths are comforted by the fact that Dr Mumba is providing quality stewardship in the MMD which has left many selfish and greedy members frustrated and opting to endorse other politicians.
He says Dr Mumba is now cleaning the MMD and restoring quality leadership in the party by removing rogue elements and spent forces.
Mr Lusambo has since appealed to MMD National Secretary Mwansa Mbulakulima and his deputy Winnie Zaloumis to sternly deal with all erring members bent on destabilising the party.
