Desist from corruption- Lifuka admonishes presidential hopefuls

Former Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) President Reuben Lifuka says presidential candidates participating in the forthcoming presidential by-election should distance themselves from any form of corruption.

Mr. Lifuka says there is need for those aspiring to be in leadership to be role models in the fight against corruption by denouncing acts of corruption.

Mr. Lifuka says Zambia must move a step further in fighting corruption with all the attention it deserves.

He has also reiterated the need for the ruling party to resist the temptation of using government resources during the campaign period.

Mr. Lifuka adds there is need for all those in authority to show responsibility by ensuring that public resources are safeguarded during this period.
