Forum for Democratic Alternatives President Dr Ludwig Sondashi has become the first presidential candidate to successfully file in his nomination papers for the 20th January,2015 presidential election.
Dr Sondashi filed in his nominations this morning before acting Chief Justice Lombe Chibesakunda who validated his nominations after meeting the requirements.
The FDA leader arrived at the Supreme Court around 09:00 hours accompanied by supporters.
Other political parties whose presidential candidates are expected to file in nominations today are the Green party and the People’s Redemption party.
Meanwhile there is a heavy presence of Police at the Supreme Court which is expected to be a hive of political activity during the period of filing nominations.
