Govt still committed to infrastructure development -Mukanga

Government has reaffirmed its commitment to implement infrastructure development programmes throughout the country.

Transport, Works and Supply Minister Yamfwa Mukanga says government will endeavor to continue from where late President Michael Sata left as regards to taking infrastructure development to all parts of the country.

Mr. Mukanga notes that when voted into power in the January 20th, 2015 presidential elections, government will continue not to tolerate shoddy works in the construction sector because it is in a hurry to rollout infrastructure development countrywide citing that shoddy works are a drawback to developing the country.

He adds that government will not relent in infrastructure development because infrastructure development equally contributes to the improvement of technical skills.

Mr. Mukanga says no part of the country will be left out in the infrastructure development that government has embarked on but that each part of the country will have a fair share of development.
