The Chitimukulu reminded all those present that traditional leaders do not formally endorse individuals, but that he knows who is a good child and who is a bad child, who is lying and who is telling the truth.

The Paramount Chief encouraged people to vote for a genuine person who will unite the country and not divide it.

And Mr. Banda who is also former republican President has thanked the Paramount Chief for his warm welcome and the Bashilubemba for all their hard work to provide for the palace during times of hardship.

Upon departing the palace, a spontaneous crowd formed cheering and chanting Mr. Banda’s name.

The MMD Presidential Candidate then walked and talked with the people of Mungwi for one and a half kilometers up to the junction, on the way meeting Kasama Member of Parliament Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, whom he hugged and exchanged greetings.
