Alex Ng’oma

Political scientist Alex Ng’oma says it has now become difficult to predict whether or not the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) can use the advantage of incumbency to win the 2015 presidential election.

Dr. Ng’oma says currently there is no basis on which to predict which political party will win the election.

In an interview with Qfm News Dr. Ng’oma notes the current situation is as similar as was the time it was not known that late President Michael Sata would win the 2011 general elections.

Dr. Ng’oma states that 2015 presidential election are therefore an open race as victory can go to any political party.

The Political scientist has named the ruling PF, the oppositions Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) and  United Party for National Development (UPND) as three political parties that are on paper perceived to be the frontrunners in the election.

He has emphasized that any of the three political parties can carry the day.
