2410 Executive Director Justine Mushoke has expressed happiness with the way the campaigns for the presidential by elections are going.
Mr. Mushoke says in an interview that despite a few incidences of violence here and there campaigns by the aspiring political parties are so far peaceful.
Mr. Mushoke however implored the Zambia police to continue being alert and deal with those found guilty on time so that when the day for the by election come, they should be no reports of violence or mal practices involved.
He adds that it is important that every one taking part in the by elections participates freely without intimidation from any one or infringement of their rights.
Mr. Mushoke also notes that civil society organizations should make sure that they sensitize the electorates that this is the time they have to elect their leader who will help them in taking development forward.
He has further advised the people of Zambia not to be cheated by any party but decide on their own who they think will be responsible and will bring about meaningful development when elected.
