MTN renew US$3 million deal with FAZ

MTN has extended its US$3 million sponsorship deal with the Football Association of Zambia for another three years.

The renewal of the deal with see MTN continue to sponsor both the FAZ Super Division and the Zambia national team.

“We are proud to renew the contract for the next three years,” FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya said.

“Our partnership with MTN has obviously paid dividends to our soccer.”

MTN Zambia chief executive officer Abdul Ismail said they were honoured to have been associated with Zambian footballs’ success during the initial three year deal.

“Today, we are proud to be associated with the success scored by FAZ over the period of our partnership,” Ismail said.

“These include, winning of the 2012 AFCON, hosting and winning of the 2013 COSAFA Senior Challenge and making the MTN/FAZ Super League competitive and watched across Africa.”
