Guy Scott
Acting President Guy Scott has dismissed as lies suggestions that he is willing to support Defense and Justice Minister Edgar Lungu in 2015 presidential election.
PF National Chairperson Inonge Wina was recently quoted in the media as saying Dr. Scott is willing to support Mr. Lungu, who is the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) candidates in the 2015 presidential election, in his campaigns.
In an interview with Qfm News Dr. Scott has stated that Ms. Wina’s statement is just her own fabrication because nothing has changed.
Dr. Scott says he is waiting for the Supreme Court Judgment in which Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has questioned Mr. Lungu’s ruling PF presidency.
He says it is not until the judgment is ruled will it be known who the legitimate PF president and party 2015 presidential candidate is.
Dr. Scott says he will campaign with who ever the legitimate PF president and presidential candidate will be after the judgement.
And Dr. Scott has also denied alleged insinuations that he does not care whether the ruling PF wins or not in the forthcoming presidential election.
He has wondered how true such an insinuation can be when he has spent nearing half of his life to work for and build the ruling PF in what it is today.
