Dynamos extends Ndhlovu loan deal

Power-player-300Nkana have agreed to extend striker Jimmy Ndhlovu’s loan stay, at their Kitwe archrivals Power Dynamos.

The 22-year-old striker, spent the 2014 season on a twelve month deal with the MTN/Faz Super League runners-up.

Power are reinforcing their team head of the Kitwe-based sides’ participation in the 2015 Caf Confederation Cup this February.

“We will loan Jimmy out for six months and only subject to Power qualifying to the group stage,” Nkana club secretary Ken Mwansa said.

Ndhlovu enjoyed a successful stint this past season at Power, where he finished as the club’s top scorer on 14 goals, one goal behind the 2014 Faz Super League Golden Boot winner Jackson Mwanza of Zesco United.

Meanwhile, Nkana have sold midfielder Claude Bwalya and defender Masauso Zimba to Power.

“We have released Claude and Masauso to Power Dynamos on permanent moves while goalkeeper Charles Mweemba, is also on Power Dynamos’ shopping list but, that is subject to confirmation by Thursday,” Mwansa said.

Bwalya leaves Nkana less than twelve months after he joined the record 12-time Zambian champions, from Konkola Blades.

Nkana failed to defend their title they won in 2013, after finishing fourth on 52 points, seven points behind their successors Zesco.
