Mtayachalo advocates for female presidents

Opposition Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) Copperbelt Chairperson Yotam Mtayachalo says time has come for Zambia to start electing women to the country’s highest office.

Mr. Mtayachalo says Zambia should emulate South American countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Peru that have started going for women leadership.

He has told Qfm News by telephone that the world has now reached a century of women leadership particularly that women have proved to be good economic managers.

Mr. Mtayachalo notes that this is in addition to the fact that women are naturally compassionate besides neither involving themselves in corrupt activities nor abuse of office.

He says it is for this reason that he is calling upon the people of Zambia to vote for FDD president Edith Nawakwi as she possesses an abundant wealth of experience as a leadership given experience gained serving a Cabinet Minister in various ministries.
