Conduct of lawyers cheers LAZ

Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) Vice President Linda Kasonde has observed that there has not been rampant misconduct in the law profession because majority of lawyers have been adhering to the code of ethics and professional standards.

Ms. Kasonde says the fact that the law profession does have some elects of some lawyers that do not conduct themselves properly, there is need to minimize the misconduct among lawyers.

She has told Qfm News that this is because such misconduct impact badly on the public.

Ms. Kasonde says this is why has association is doing all it can to ensure that professionals that fall out of the rules and professional ethics are dealt with by its disciplinary procedures.
