Zambian Voice praises Mambilima

The Zambian Voice has observed that the manner in which Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Chairperson Irene Mambilima has professionally presided over the affairs of the commission is highly commendable.

Zambian Voice Executive Director Chilufya Tayali says Justice Mambilima is conducting the affairs of the country’s electoral body in an independent manner.

Mr. Tayali has told Qfm News in an interview that his organization is particularly impressed with Justice Mambilima for ensuring that the commission maintains the dates for filing of nominations for the presidential election regardless of the readiness of some political parties.

He says the ECZ board Chairperson has set an example of how public and independent institutions are supposed to be operating in the country.

The Zambian Voice Executive Director has since called on other leaders in similar positions like Justice Mambilima to emulate her.
