Lungu will win by-election – Sikazwe

Northern Province Minister Freedom Sikazwe says he is not worried now that Edgar Lungu has been adopted as party president saying it will be easy for him to win the by- election.

Mr. Sikazwe says he personally has full confidence in Mr. Lungu saying he is a people’s choice.

Mr. Sikazwe, who is also a member of the PF Central Committee, is of the view that the party would have had difficulties in convincing the people if Mr. Lungu was not adopted.

He says it was written all over the walls that Mr. Lungu was the people’s preferred candidate who is capable of winning the by-election.

Mr. Sikazwe says the party is still winning support from the majority of Zambians and that it will be easy to win the forthcoming by-election.

The Mpulungu PF Member of Parliament has however noted that PF is yet to do more in terms of national development.
