ZEA expect smooth campaigns for 2015 presidential

The Zambia Electoral Alliance (ZEA) says it expects the ongoing campaigns for the 2015 presidential election to continue going smoothly with all participating political parties adhering to the electoral Code of Conduct.

Alliance Spokesperson Guess Nyirenda states that his organization also expects that all participating political parties will stick to issue based campaigns.

Mr. Nyirenda has also called on political parties that have not yet finalized their adoption processes to quickly do so.

He notes that the more such political parties delay in making it clear who their presidential candidates are, the more they are disadvantaging themselves.

Mr Nyirenda adds that his organization further wants to see a situation where aspiring presidential candidates make promises they are certain they will deliver upon.
