Next President should promote peace – FDD

The opposition Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) on the Copperbelt says the President who will be elected in the January 2015 to promote the spirit of one Zambia one nation by ensuring that all tribes and regions benefit equally from the national cake.

FDD Copperbelt Chairperson Yotam Mtayachalo says politicians should not use tribe or regionalism to further their political agendas, but ensure that they serve every person, all tribes and regions fairly for a better Zambia.

Mr. Mtayachalo notes that those aspiring to be President should learn from the mistakes of the past presidents and try to do better.

He says this is the time for new leadership in Zambia, and that he believes FDD leader Edith Nawakwi is ready to provide the necessary leadership.

Mr. Mtayachalo states that if it is the will of God that the country has a female president, it will come to pass because God’s will is final.
