David Beckham speaks out for the first time since car crash

SonDAVID Beckham has spoken out for the first time after being involved in a car crash on Saturday morning.

Victoria Beckham‘s hubby has revealed he’s “a bit shaky” following the collision at Arsenal training ground.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the former footballer revealed: “I’m fine but I’m a bit shaky and a bit sore.”

Earlier this week, pictures emerged of the car crash which left David and Brooklyn Beckham shaken up.

The retired footballer was involved in a collision with another car after he had picked his eldest son up from football training.

It is believed that neither party were injured in the smash, but both cars appear badly damaged in the pictures.

The driver’s side of David’s Audi RS6 is severely dented while the other car was apparently written off.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the 39-year-old had was collecting his eldest son from London Colney in Hertfordshire, where Brooklyn’s Under-16s team had been playing against Brighton’s Under-16s.

It was also reported that Becks was treated at the scene for a minor shoulder injury while Brooklyn was unhurt.Accident

A woman and her daughter in the other car was allegedly treated in hospital for minor injuries, is was reported in The Sun.

Archie Davies, who plays for Brighton, tweeted at the time: “Just seen David Beckham looks like he got in a car crash and hurt his shoulder.”

While another Brighton player added: “Weird to play against Brooklyn Beckham earlier. Even weird to be currently stuck behind David Beckham as he has crashed his car…”

A source told the Daily Telegraph: “They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang but thankfully everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine.”
