Incoming govt should reduce cost of living -ZACA

The Zambia Consumers Association (ZACA) has advised the incoming government to ensure that it reduces the high cost of living in the country.

ZACA Executive Secretary Samuel Simutunda says what the people of Zambia need now is an improvement where the basic commodities are affordable.

Mr. Simutunda SAYS his organization finds it saddening that the people of Zambia have been subjected to high cost of living for a lon.

He charges that the new government should ensure that its people enjoy their country’s natural resources through lower prices of the basic necessities.

Mr. Simutunda says government should find ways of stabilizing the prices of mealie meal has well as the kwacha.
He since appealed to aspiring candidates who want to be elected the country’s president not to make promises that they will fail to fulfill.

He says Zambians should thus be advised to vote for a leader who they have confidence in and are sure will not disappoint them.
