PF General Conference yet to open

The Patriotic Front (PF) General Conference that is scheduled for today Saturday the 29th of November has not yet been officially opened.

Acting republic president Guy Scott, by virtue of being acting PF party president is the one that is set to officially open the conference.

But by 17:30hrs this evening delegates were still waiting for the outcome of the Central committee meeting that is said to be chaired by Dr Scott.

Reports reaching Qfm News indicate that the meeting is also scrutinizing the names of the presidential candidates that are to be brought forward to the delegates.

Once this process is done the national council is expected to proceed with other items on the agenda which will include the election of the PF president who will be the party’s subsequent presidential candidate for the 2015 presidential by-election slated for the 20th of January.
