Mukobela asks presidential hopefuls to honor promises once elected

Chief Mukobela of the ILA speaking people in Namwala has appealed to politicians vying for Presidency to ensure to honor the promises they are making to the people once voted into office.

Chief Mukobela says it will be saddening for the presidential candidates to u-turn on their promises after being voted into office.

He notes that leaders should respect the people who vote them into office by delivering on the promises made to the people.

The traditional leader says political leaders should be careful with the promises they make so that they do not promise what they cannot fulfill.

He is hopeful that those in opposition have learnt from the mistakes of successive governments and will not find themselves in similar situations.

Chief Mukobela has further urged the people of Zambia to vote for the person they have confidence in and know that he will deliver.
