Opposition UPND President Hakainde Hichilema has expressed gratitude for the reception he has been accorded during his campaign tour of Mongu and Limulunga in Western province.
Mr. Hichilema has particularly thanked the Litunga for the reception he has been given in the Province.
He has further extended his gratitude to the Members of Parliament from other opposition political parties that have endorsed him for presidency ahead of the 2015 presidential election.
He says this support means a lot to him and his party thee UPND as believes that they can work hard together with his party for a better Zambia.
The UPND leader also notes that from his campaign tours he has come to the realization that each region of the country has its own unique economical potential that needs to be tapped.
He says Western province is particularly endowed with land, vegetation and climatic conditions very suitable for fishing, rice, cashew nuts, and other agricultural activity.
The opposition presidential aspirant however notes that animal diseases have continued to affect this region to a point where farmers are not allowed to transport their animals in most cases.
He says this therefore needs to be addressed as a matter of priority.
