Whistle blowers alerted ahead of election

Anti-corruption whistle blowers have called upon to be on high alert in making certain that the 2015 presidential election is not marred by corrupt practices.

Zambia Youths Association in the Fight Against Corruption (ZYAFAC) says Zambia needs a new president elected based on ideologies and principles.

Executive Director Rickson Kanema says this process should be free and fair where all political parties abide by the electoral code of conduct.

Mr. Kanema states that this also means that casting of votes during the 2015 presidential poll should not be influenced by bribing the electorates.

He says it is for this reason that his organization is calling on the electorate especially the youths to reject and report all electoral malpractices.
