Traditional leader counsels PF ahead of general conference

A traditional leader has advised the ruling Patriotic Front to elect a presidential candidate who will genuinely reconcile the party during the general conference to be held this Saturday.

Chief Mukobela of the Ila speaking people in Namwala District is of the view that the general conference should be used as a unifying factor to restore peace and order in the ruling party.

He says the PF should take advantage of this golden moment and ensure that they resolve all differences.

He states that genuine reconciliation is vital for the ruling party if they have to climb the huge mountain that lies ahead of them.

The Traditional Leader says he is convinced that if the PF can seize this opportunity and not just elect a leader but also reconcile, the party will emerge united after the general conference.
