Chanda describes PF presidential candidate adoption process a sham

Patriotic Front member Sunday Chanda has described the entire process leading to this weekend’s general conference to elect the party’s president as a sham.

Mr Chanda says this because the process of accrediting delegates to the general conference has been shrouded in unprecedented secrecy.

He has since called on Patriotic Front members to remain alert and vigilant amidst reports linking senior party officials to secret accreditation of delegates to the party’s general conference.

Mr. Chanda says such activities are a recipe for anarchy, in which the Zambia Police should take keen interest.

He adds that PF members should be reminded that Zambian laws have provisions for citizen arrest and hand over the culprits to Police.
