The ruling Patriotic Front in Mandevu Constituency has called on the party leadership to expel area Member of Parliament Jean Kapata for failing to perform.
PF Mandevu Constituency Chairman Moses Makasa has told QFM News that the party leadership in the constituency has resolved that Ms Kapata be expelled for failing to perform her duties as area Member of Parliament.
Mr. Makasa says Ms Kapata has forgotten that she is in parliament to serve the interests of the people she represents and not her personal interests.
He says it is disappointing that Ms Kapata since 2011 has not done anything tangible in her constituency.
Mr Makasa says it is for this reason that the top leadership of the party in Mandevu is requesting that Ms Kapata is expelled from the party for putting the name of the party in disrepute.
He adds that party leadership in the constituency will ensure that she does not recontest the seat in 2016.
