The opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) has charged that the party has unearthed a scam aimed at disadvantaging party President Hakainde Hichilema from contesting as president in the forthcoming presidential by-election slated for 20th January 2015.
In a statement made available to QFM News today, UPND Spokesperson Charles Kakoma has alleged that some political opponents are spreading false information that Mr. Hichilema will not run for presidency.
Mr. Kakoma has also accused the people behind spreading such information as being heavily sponsored by known political parties which are scared of Mr. Hichilema’s popularity.
Mr. Kakoma has also stated that those who are spreading the false information that Mr. Hichilema is not running for presidency they have been hired by known political parties who have now realised that Mr. Hichilema is definitely winning the forthcoming presidential election.
He says Mr. Hichilema has so far sold himself so well to the Zambian electorate s by clearly articulating UPND’s alternative solutions to the many suffering s that Zambian people are facing and he has promised to end the suffering the sufferings of the people.
