Mumbi Phiri advises former First Lady

Former Munali Member of Parliament and PF member of the Central Committee Mumbi Phiri has appealed to former first lady Dr. Christine Kaseba to rescind her decision to contest for the PF presidency.
Ms. Phiri says while it is Dr Kaseba’s democratic right to aspire for public office, should take time to mourn her husband.
Ms Phiri says she personally feels the decision the former first lady has taken is morally wrong and shocking to may well meaning mothers.
She says Dr. Kaseba was going to be understood if she supported one of the family members who have also shown interest in the PF presidency.
