Continued wrangles in PF worries ICOZ

The Independent Churches of Zambia (ICOZ) has expressed fear that the continued succession wrangles in the ruling Patriotic Front might plunge the country into total chaos or even civil strife.

And the Church mother body says the behavior of some senior PF members after the death of President Michael Sata shows that they never respected him as their leader.

ICOZ Board Chairman David Masupa says the succession wrangles that have emerged in the ruling party show that the man who is lying at Embassy Park was not respected by his subordinates.

Bishop Masupa says a lot of people are expecting the ruling PF to have a smooth way of selecting their presidential candidate.

He says the only medicine the PF needs is unity by ironing out their differences and focus on rebuilding the party.

Bishop Masupa has since called on Zambians to pray to God and seek his guidance when choosing the next leader to succeed President Michael Chilufya Sata.
