Captain Phangula challenges PF Presidential aspirants to a debate

Patriotic Front Presidential aspirant Ambassador Seleman Phangula Banda has challenged his fellow aspiring candidates to a national televised debate before going to the general conference.

Captain Banda has told QFM News in a walk-in interview that all fully paid up aspiring Presidential candidates should consider going for the debate to sale their ideas.

Captain Banda is of the view that the general conference which is held for two days at the most, might not enable all the delegates to have full knowledge of each candidate thus the need for a televised debate.

He says a televised public debate will enhance independence and objectivity of the incorruptible delegates who are going to come to the PF extraordinary conference as representatives of the general membership.

He adds that a televised public debate before the general conference will enable the general membership to have understanding of the aspiring candidates, their track record and their pledges.

Captain Banda further states that a televised public debate will enable the general membership to sample a public opinion poll of who is the most marketable candidate to the nation.

He says it will also enable the PF membership and general public to give a reasonable, rationale and well-grounded advice to the delegates on who should be voted at the conference.
