Church asked to open eyes of Zambian people

Evangelical Youth Alliance International Executive Director Moses Lungu has appealed to church leaders in the country to help open the eyes of the people of Zambia to see what God is saying as the country goes to the presidential election.

Reverend Lungu has told Q fm in an interview that God had his own reason for taking President Michael Sata at the time the country was celebrating the Golden Jubilee and has a purpose for Zambia, but that the people of Zambia cannot see this.

Reverend Lungu says church leaders must help lead the country in the way that God wants the country to go instead of concentrating on politics.

He says God uses the church to speak to his people and hence the church should pass the message to the people.

He adds that Zambians should let the will of God prevail and let him have his way in the country, stating that his will for the country is to prosper the country and not to harm the people.

Reverend Mwanza notes that the people of Zambia should continue to pray for God’s intervention and give the country a leader that will lead the people of Zambia in a way that he desires.

He has further appealed to politicians not to be selfish but allow God’s will to be done for the benefit of the country.
