PF reminded it is party in govt

The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) has been reminded to be wary that while it resolves its issue it is still the party in government.

Zambian Voice Executive Director Chilufya Tayali has told Q fm news much as the issue of selecting the presidential candidate for the forthcoming by-election is an internal matter, the ruling PF cannot avoid spilling it over to the general public.

Mr. Tayali notes that being the ruling party, whatever happens in it does become an issue to bring about anxiety among the people of Zambia.

He says the PF must therefore make sure that it resolves its difference as soon as possible so that it does not escalate into turmoil into the nation.

Mr. Tayali further notes time is not on the side of the ruling PF for it to further delay in dealing with the issue of selecting its presidential candidate for the forthcoming poll.
