Mpulungu Member of Parliament Freedom Sikazwe says the people of Mpulungu have backed Secretary General Edgar Lungu’s position that the Patriotic Front (PF) is not for sale.
Mr. Sikazwe who is also Northern Province Minister says people from his constituency are asking those who want the party to go for a convention to state where the money for such an activity will come from.
Mr. Sikazwe says he thinks that the ruling PF does not have money to go for a convention.
He says it is for this reason that the people of Mpulungu are saying it does not make sense for the party to go for a convention now and go for another convention in 2015 to elect new office bearers for all the structures in the party.
