Cape Verde arrive today

Cape Verde are expected in the country today ahead of this Wednesday’s final group F match against Zambia’s Chipolopolo in Ndola.

The Blue Sharks opted for a scheduled three-stop, long-haul flight for their final Group F match.

The Blue Sharks, who have already secured their 2015 Africa Cup qualification have decided not to take a charter flight for their formality Group F qualifier away to Zambia.

Cape Verde beat bottom placed Niger 3-1 on Saturday at home in Praia to pick up their fourth win from five Group F qualifying matches.

Cape Verde are expected to land in Ndola on Monday at lunchtime where the match will be played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on 19 November.

Wednesday’s game is a grudge match for Zambia who suffered their only Group F defeat away to Cape Verde on September 10 in Praia where they lost 2-1.

Cape Verde lead Group F on 12 points with one match to go, Zambia are second on 8 points while Mozambique are third with 5 points after losing 1-0 to Chipolopolo at home on November 16.
