Sondashi saddened by Zambia’s none performing economy

Opposition FDA President Ludwig Sondashi has observed that it is saddening that Zambia’s economy has not performed well in last 50 years despite the country having natural resources.

Dr. Sondashi notes that Zambia has not performed well economically due to lack of political leadership in all the successive governments.

He says the lack of political leadership has also contributed to undermined democracy and development in the country.

Dr. Sondashi adds that because all the former five presidents did nothing to ensure that they reduced their excessive presidential powers, it never occurred to them that it is excessive presidential powers which have undermined rapid development and progress in Zambia.

He says all the past Presidents used their presidential powers to strengthen their positions instead of delivering the services to Zambians.
