Zambia needs leaders with clean record- Masupa

Independent Churches of Zambia (ICOZ) President David Masupa says the country needs a leader who has a clean record and is corruption free.

Bishop Masupa says a President with a dirty character will not be able to move the country forward, but will mess up the country.

Bishop Masupa says the next President should also be a person who is able to listen to the people and is able to take positive advice from his or her fellow political leaders in the opposition.

He adds that the next leader should also have the people of Zambia at heart and not putting their own desires ahead of those of the people of Zambia.

Bishop Masupa further states that it is only a leader chosen by God that will be able to redeem the people of Zambia from their sufferings as well as develop the country.

Bishop Masupan says there is need for every Zambian including political leaders themselves to look to God and ask him to give the country his chosen leader.
