Zambia will see a smooth power transition – Dodia

The Private Sector Development Association (PSDA) has expressed optimism that the country will see a smooth power transition going by the manner government has handled the national mourning period.

Chairperson Yusuf Dodia notes government has followed all laid down constitutional provisions during the state funeral of late President Michael Sata which in turn has enabled law and order to prevail throughout the mourning period.

He has told Qfm News by telephone that his association is thus hopeful that the country’s economy will remain stable.

Mr. Dodia has also observed that this is particularly that Zambians themselves have remained calm during the mourning period of the late President Sata who was put to rest yesterday.
