Nevers won’t distracted by RB comeback debate

Movement for Multiparty Democracy MMD President Nevers Mumba says he will not be distracted by reports that former President Rupiah Banda intends to contest presidential election expected to be held in January 2015.

Dr. Mumba has told Qfm news in an interview that the MMD is a democratic party and that everyone has the right to contest for any position.

Dr. Mumba explains that the party will hold a National Executive Committee meeting this Thursday where the decision pertaining to the presidential election will be made and the nation will be informed on any development.

The MMD President has that the party is ready to deliver to the expectations of Zambian people if given a chance to bounce back in government.
