Political activist Mbita Chitala has expressed optimism that power transition that has been necessitated by the death of President Michael Sata will not erode investor confidence of Zambia.
Dr. Chitala says this is because the country has been in this situation before when the republican President Levy Patrick Mwanawasa died in 2008.
He has told Qfm News that he thus confident that even this time when President Sata has died investor confidence will still be sustained because Zambians are naturally peaceful people.
Dr. Chitala notes that his hope therefore is that the there will be unity and peace during the time that country mourns late President.
