Youths advised against rioting during mourning of Sata

Youths for Transparency and Integrity (YTI) have advised youths in the country to desist from riots and any forms of violence during this mourning period for late President Michael Sata.

YTI Executive Director Bright Muchimba notes that much as the youths may be provoked by certain decisions being made, they should control their emotions and try by all means to mourn the late President with respect and in peace.

Mr. Muchimba says it is important that youths show respect to the late head of state by not resorting to any form of violence even when things have gone wrong, stating that the late President himself would not allow youths to involve themselves in violence at a time of mourning.

He adds that anyone who is touched by the passing on of President Michael Sata will not allow anything to disturb or interfere with his/her mourning of the late President, but will continue to mourn until he is put to rest.

Mr. Muchimba has further urged every Zambian to respect this period and show love towards each other.
