Sata was a sincere friend – Cuba

Cuban Ambassador to Zambia Caridad Perez Gonzalez says Cuba has lost a sincere friend in President Michael Sata.

Ms Gonzalez adds that Zambia has also lost a great leader, but has encouraged Zambians to accept the death of President Sata and celebrate his life.

Ms Gonzalez says President Sata will be remembered as a man who devoted his entire life to improving relations between Zambia and the entire international community.

She says Cuba worked very well with President Sata and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Gonzalez states that she is hopeful that President Sata has run his race and fought a good fight.

She has further encouraged Zambians to remain united, continue loving each other and be strong as they mourn President Sata.
