Former movement for multiparty democracy (MMD) spokesperson Dora Siliya says President Michael Sata was unique and bigger than life person.
Ms Siliya says it is sad that Zambia has again been touched by the cruel hand of death.
In her tribute message on her face book page to President Michael Sata, Ms. Siliya says His tenacity is what saw him take his Party into Government in just 10 years.
She adds that beyond the political persona, many forget that politicians are human beings who are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, just simply human beings.
President Sata will be missed by many but most of all, those who loved him most, his family.
She has since conveyed her condolences to Dr Christine Kaseba, the children and whole family, on this very sad occasion.
Ms Siliya says Death always provides an opportunity for anyone to reflect and come together as families, friends and even strangers.
