People continue filing past President Sata’s casket

People from all walks of life have continued trooping to Mulungushi International Conference Centre to pay their last respects to late President Michael Sata whose remains are on public display.

And Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda broke down upon viewing the body of the late President this morning.

The public is for a second day being accorded an opportunity to view the body of the late President who died in London on 28th October where he had gone for medical treatment.

Earlier Defence and security personnel paid their last respects to their commander-in-Chief.

Members of the general public will continue to view the late President’s body until November 9.

On 10th November the late President’s remains will be taken to Parliament buildings were Members of Parliament will hold a special session to pay tribute to President Sata.

The body will then be taken to State House where it will lie in state in readiness for burial at Embassy Park the presidential burial site on 11th November,2014.
