People really loved Sata – ICOZ

The Independent Churches of Zambia (ICOZ) says the emotions of people upon seeing the casket of late President Michael Sata shows that the people of Zambia really loved him.

ICOZ Board Chairperson David Masupa has told QFM News in a telephone interview that it is hard for people to believe that the Head of State is no more.

Bishop Masupa says just like it has been difficult to forget former Presidents Fredrick Chiluba and Levy Mwanawasa, it will be too difficult for Zambians to forget President Sata.

Bishop Masupa says his legacy must live on and that the next government must build on his legacy.

Bishop Masupa says the former Head of State deserves a befitting funeral and burial without confusion.

He has since advised the people of Zambia to remain focused as they mourn the departed Head of State.
