Chief Mukobela of the Ila speaking people in Namwala District of Southern Province has appealed to the Patriotic Front to pick their presidential candidate for the forthcoming Presidential by-election in a peaceful manner.
And the Tradition Leader says late Republican President Michael Sata had a vision to end child marriages in the country.
Chief Mukobela says President Sata had also shown political will in addressing the challenges traditional leaders in the country are facing.
Chief Mukobela cites the government plans to construction chiefs palaces across the country as one tangible example of his commitment to address challenges of traditional leaders.
He says he will personally miss President Sata for his zeal to develop the rural parts of the country.
