Community Development, Mother and Child Health Minister Emerine Kabanshi says it is sad that the Patriotic Front’s vision carrier has passed on.
Ms. Kabanshi says President Sata was a leader who was concerned about the plight of the grass root people.
Ms. Kabanshi says it was during President Sata’s tenure that the social cash transfer was scaled up and services being taken as close to the people as possible.
She adds that President Sata believed that they could only be economic independence if the people were involved, the reason why he made sure that communities were involved in economic activities.
Ms. Kabanshi states that President Sata gave his Ministers matching orders to explain the Patriotic Front manifesto and all the programmes being undertaken by the government.
She further states that President Sata’s vision is beyond the PF as a party, but goes as far as the nation stressing that as government they will make sure that they remain united.
