Government has opened a Presidential Funeral Holding Account at the Bank of Zambia and Presidential Funeral Transit Accounts in ten (10) Commercial Banks.
Secretary to the Cabinet Rowland Msiska says this is in response to the numerous requests by Zambians and friends of Zambia, both locally and abroad, who wish to make financial contributions, in recognition and appreciation of the positive impact which the late beloved President had on their lives and wellbeing.
Dr Msiska says well-wishers may deposit their financial contributions from their locations and towns in any of the designated Presidential Funeral Transit Accounts held at ZANACO, Indo Zambia Bank, Investrust Bank PLC, First National Bank, ECO Bank, Cavmont Bank, Stanbic Bank, Barclays Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and Finance Bank.
Dr Msiska says Zambians and friends of Zambia wishing to make contributions in kind should get in touch with the Permanent Secretary (Administration) at Cabinet Office, Lusaka, or the Provincial Permanent Secretaries in any of the ten (10) Provinces of Zambia.
