The Zambia Anglican Council (ZAC) has joined the nation in mourning the passing on of Republican President Michael Chilufya Sata.
The Council says the passing on of President Sata is a national tragedy.
The Zambia Anglican Council has urged Zambians to honour the memory of President Sata by mourning him in peace and unity as well as in a dignified manner.
The Council says it also commit into prayers the Acting President Dr Guy Scot as he oversees the affairs of this nation during this trying moment.
It further says that its prayers are with the President’s family and the nation as a whole.
The Zambia Anglican Council has since expressed its deepest and sincerest condolences to the family of the late President Sata and to the people of the Republic of Zambia.
